CTPA’s International Seminar 2025: Supporting Members on Global Trade and Regulations

5 November 2025 – London, UK
The Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA) successfully hosted its highly anticipated International Seminar 2025, coinciding this year with the UK Government’s International Trade Week led by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT).

The CTPA International Seminar is a biennial, members-only event that delivers crucial updates on worldwide regulatory and trade developments. Since its inception, the seminar has become a vital forum for connecting with peers, stakeholders, and industry experts shaping the future of the cosmetics sector.

This year’s event took place at BMA House in London on 3–4 November 2025, featuring an extensive programme tailored to the evolving needs of the global cosmetics industry.

Representatives from the Department for Business and Trade, the International Collaboration on Cosmetics Safety (ICCS), and cosmetics associations including Cosmetics Europe, Cosmetics Alliance Canada, Personal Care Products Council USA (PCPC), and FEBEA (France) joined experts from CTPA member companies and consultancies. Together, they explored the many pressing challenges facing cosmetics companies operating across international markets.

Delegates engaged in discussions on regulatory developments across key global regions — including North America, the Middle East, and Asia — and examined trends toward alignment on international regulatory best practices.

I was delighted to see so many members and stakeholders attend the 2025 CTPA International Seminar. We were treated to a wealth of incredibly important information and advice from around the world and on key global markets. My grateful thanks go to all the speakers and the CTPA team, but especially Nico and Johanna, whose focus and expertise on international issues are invaluable to members and the industry as a whole,”
Dr Emma Meredith, Director-General, CTPA
